Helping children experience and know the Love of God is a passion of Mrs. Nelon. Her nurturing and caring spirit allows children to grow and learn in the environment of CCA’s classrooms and programs. Maria has over 20 years of Childcare and Education experience and is a licensed teacher and licensed Childcare Program Director. Maria and her husband Doug have 4 grown children, one high school Senior, and four grandchildren.

Tiffany Tacker serves as a Pre K teacher for CCA. She holds an Associates Degree in Child Development from Abilene Christian University. Tiffany was with Kenley School for 7 years before becoming part of the CCA staff. An Abilenian since age 5, Tiffany is happily married and is a blessing to the families of CCA.

Jenn serves as office administrator for Champions Christian Academy. Jenn tries to impart joy and life to those around her. Her passion is to see God glorified by Heaven touching earth! She was born and raised in Canada where she was a project manager at an environmental engineering firm. Jenn moved to Abilene when she married her husband Michael. They have been married for 4 years and have been blessed with 2 wonderful children, Harrison and Heidi. Harrison is 3 and loves attending his pre-K class at CCA.

Katy serves as Worship and Music teacher for CCA. Her heart is to see children experience the presence of the Lord through worship and music. Katy is a worship leader at Champions Church and has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Hardin Simmons University. She and her husband Philip have 3 sons and are both passionate about seeing people experience the benefits of God’s Kingdom in their daily lives.

Pastor Thomas carries a passion to see CCA partner with families in a way that prepares every child for their awesome future. He provides pastoral care and oversight to the CCA staff, desiring to see the Academy fulfill its mission to care for, educate and disciple children to know God and His great love for them. His desire is that the environment of CCA prepares kids to know at an early age that nothing is impossible for them!
